THE NYC FESTIVAL OF YOUNG ARTISTS & LEADERS
FREE
SATURDAY, JUNE 5, 1-5PM
EAST 4TH STREET BETWEEN SECOND AVE & BOWERY
Over 30 teen companies come together in the 2nd annual festival celebrating the contributions of young artists and leaders to NYC.
Three stages of performance - music, dance, theater - and an indoor film festival fill the block with a joyful noise. Twenty tables and exhibits where you can see artwork, hear radio, talk to teen artists, gather information.
And take away a free NYC RESOURCE GUIDE TO ARTS & LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS, with listings and information on over 60 programs working with high school and middle school age students after school and weekends.
This project is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, and by the New York State Council on the Arts, a state agency. Additional support was received from the Emma Shaefer Charitable Trust and from the Nancy Quinn Fund at ART/New York.
